Could not create character profile

Currently using Eperty123's VM and I keep getting the error "Could not create character profile." I can connect all the way up to the server, but once I choose my eidolon to enter the server, that error appears. What could the possible cause of this be?

Ah, I'm stupid... Sorry to waste your time >x< CCleaner ran suddenly (had 320gb of junk) and I decided to clear the temp logs in the game folder and it fixed the issue.

Sorry to bump, But I'm with the same error and using CCleaner didn't help =( Even deleting the temp logs, I still got: Could not create character profile.

set locale to en_US.ISO88591 and restart server

centos 7 -> command: localectl set-locale LANG=en_US.ISO88591

centos 6.9 and below -> in file /etc/sysconfig/i18n search with nano or similiar for LANG= and change the entry to LANG=en_US.ISO88591
