Yep, x64dbg. I recently tried to use 1.69 bins myself, got past VindictusLauncher (since -stage doesn't work anymore) and replaced steam_api.dll to override the filesystem and load from /data. Character creation worked fine (the new screen is pretty cool) but got stuck on that character selection crash that you mentioned is resolved. I've also used dnSpy to edit server dlls, had to force it to send a hostname instead of my private LAN IP so friends could create boats and join channels on WAN.
God, please let me pay tribute to your efforts. You are still working and have achieved remarkable results. A friend of mine told me that there was a private server updating a lot of new content. I could not believe it. Until I saw your post. Are you making changes on the previous EU1.69 server to make the new content work smoothly? Still got a newer version of the server? I always thought that unless there is a new server, there will be no new content in the version, but anyway, thank you for your efforts
Your friend was probably talking about the server I run (Balor update was last week).
I have been updating portions of the server code (mainly FrontendService, LoginService, MicroPlayService, PlayerService, ServiceCore) to get the Delia bins working, and I am trying to work towards getting some of the latest client bins working (post-RISE).
So where can we receive these files?
They have not been released yet as development is still going on
I had to edit ServiceCore.dll to make them work. What I found is that in both cases the server sent my private LAN IP to the clients, and that obviously fails on WAN. To fix boats, I've modified the ConnectionRequestMessage class. Right on the first line it sends the address, so I just replaced it with my hostname. To fix channels, the JoinChannel class needs to be modified (there are two of them, I mean the one on the MMOChannelServiceOperations namespace) so that at the very end it creates a new ChannelServerAddress object using your hostname instead of the IP. Don't forget to redirect the hostname to your LAN IP on your own local hosts file, or it'll break local play.
Seems like my prop crash/quickslot issues were because of something totally different, thanks @lucasncv for finding the solution
Unfortunately its not good enough now due to changes made around December 2016. It would make more sense to just target the latest NA or KR client bins.
if we going to target anything it wouldnt be the latest NA bins... since they are 6 months behind would target a recent KR build which you already are doing so its all good also the 1.69 Delia Server files work great except 1.69 bins are royally fucked on Windows 10 Fall Creators Update without turning the UI completely off.
I've heard that the issue might be tied to the newer chat UI in particular. It would be nice if someone could confirm this.
Also I should mention that I am only looking to work with serious, experienced developers
QwQ we support you silently in the back
I'm on Windows 10 on the most recent update, and I have no issues with the UI so long as the old chat box is enabled rather than the new one.
I would like to add that I can provide services that pertain to 2D and 3D graphical assets, should you ever need any.
Thank you again for all of your hard work and persistent patience.
