Put any username and password then it registers to your DBs. Make sure you put your IP correctly if you are running localhost.Quote:

Gvy and Tanaka try work hard to make this server compatible with 1.69,
so you dont know much about this server, pls do not try anythings that you dont know or you need to fix it by yourself
I'm trying to setup an English server for a few friends and I to play. Do I just need to download all of the things in the main post? Is there a tutorial to follow to setup for this specific version of Vindictus with as many playable classes as possible?
You need the server files from the released section then replace your server files with anything you found find that right for you.
If you want vanilla Vindi just use the DBs from Gvy.

@shiro,everyone knows that 1.65 client doesn't need a fix. Vindictusworld moved to 1.69 client and most of the players are using now. Maybe you didn't have their client and you are here just assuming things. Anyway, let move on to next whatever you doing.
@Mas, the YouTube tutorial has Been taken down long time ago. It's probably due to him shown some cheat mods which will affected private servers. Example, with that mods you can be as strong as a player with +15 full equipments but only work if you are a Host aka boat leader.
hey guys i installed 1.65 server and databse with TW client and it works fine, but the depot doesnt work says service unstable, so i installed this 1.69 EU client with files provided in this thread but when i start the game i see no servers in the list and the game freezes for ~10 seconds when i click start game or login it doesnt see my localserver why?
i have ServerIp=localhost set on nmconnew.ini what else do i need to do?
also the game does not start with zh-tw-x-GM i have to use en-eu-x-gm for 1.69 client is this the reason why i cant see my localserver and login?
Depot supply not work on any private servers, there someone known how to fixed the NX cash given to players on their DBs(but likely not gonna share)
You either don't see the server-list because your client-side's DBs couldn't have your localhost IP or something misconfigured there. Since you said client 1.65 work that could be the reason. Btw, this TW servers supported any clients version up to 1.69 EU. Beyond that is just incompatible.

You are not supposed to update your 1.69 client to latest.

Just uninstall or delete your current 1.69 client.

Replace your vindictus.exe with the MHTW ones then you won't ask to update again. For Host files just use any you like. Those doesn't affect anything. I have my old hamachi servers on with nothing on my Host files still worked like a charm.
Yes, that SQL folder is your client database. You can modify it with navicat and do the same to your server-side database too.

You replaced a file in the hfs folder right?Put the original file back in.If you kept a copy,you can simply copy it back into the folder.If not,the only way I know how to do is to reinstall the client.Quote:

You are using a clean 1.69 client without replacing unnecessary files from the client, you will get that error. There is plenty of topics about this problems already. You should look around for it.

Having some issues getting these files to properly extract. Upon completion of the download, the .z01/2/3 files do not unzip and are read as corrupted. Has anyone else experienced this? They take so long to download, I'm hesitant to just "try to redownload the files"... A 5 hour download either means I do it over night or I do it during the day and have relatively nothing to do for 5 hours, only to hope that the file isn't corrupted for some reason. To me, these four files are missing a "vindictus.zip" file to extract so that the .z01/z02/z03 files have something to follow... am I wrong?
You should have a Vindictus.exe which will run the installer, do not try to extract the .z01/2/3 files yourselfQuote:

Found a pseudo-solution. Just copied heroesContents.db3 to some other location and edited it there. Then I overwrite the one in my server files.
So I downloaded the updated PlayerService.dll, but now I can't get PlayerService.dll to boot no matter what-- any suggestions?

Well this might sound dumb but I'm drawing a blank here & I don't know until I ask so , After setting up the 1.65 tw client & server and installing the eu client I'm getting confused on which one we are editing now . Are these files going to the MHTW or the original eu folder ? I apologize my mind is a little adhd and scattered at times I have trouble following instructions , if anyone could help I'd appreciate it .

Don't run the vindictus shortcut. There is "start.bat" in the en-us folder, run that. It will start the game just fine :)Quote:
