For those struggling with MEGA bandwidth restriction, i found this program just copy the links(should detect automatically) and start the download, you can chose how many simultaneous downlaods etc.

I'm wondering where character gender is defined. Can't seem to find it anywhere.

A bunch of files refer to each other's folder location, and some of the locations are in engine, server and client dlls. Run a search through the script files or those dlls for anything that sounds like it might be what you want, and you'll usually find it.
If you can't figure it out, you can try guessing. I figured a few out that way.

BSP is map format. If you know how to edit BSPs you can edit the map a lot, adding NPCs and props and stuff like that.
ok, i have The last EU client previous to the "Screenshot mode" and Ein mode, tried using the files (exes and bins) from patchouli's post and well, the client works but i have no idea to what degree, i can't launch boats due some UI iverlap of some sort, can't even chose the boats, are there any extra files/changes needed? don't worry, just let me know which ones and i'll do the rest, that's the last i can try to do xD
I think yours is EU 1.69 which can launch the client properly. Today I finally updated to 1.70 but didn't work with Gvy's new bin.
Have you try nultar's database and XML folder? It works fine for 1.69 EU client.

To fix boat you need to use an older bin folder and make sure your server is forwarding the boat related ports properly. To fix the GUI you need to use my chat window fix, and also in the database change AdvancedUI to 0 or null (I forget which) found by Gvy.

thank you very much, my boats work on the EU and tw version so i don't think porting is the problem, it was mainly the UI overlaping, i'll try your fix and the database you uploaded. Hopefully it will get rid of it i'll let you know when i test it :) damn you guys know a damn lot of all this stuff xD
It's all about experimentation, trial and error. If you want to do something, try everything that looks like it's related, and you'll usually find it.
For example, I wanted to remove Kalok's fist weapon because bare fists looks better to me.
But I found out that even if you remove the fist weapon model, Kalok's right hand shrinks.
There wasn't a figure/bodyshape file to define that. So I figured it may be in the dll files.
I did a search in engine, server and client dlls, for r_hand, and I found two right hand bone names in client.dll, right next to weapon_blaster.
So I changed the names to X_hand, and now it doesn't shrink Kalok's right hand anymore.
yeah, i did some trial/error mainly with the db when i got my first server working, sadly atm i'm very busy with rl stuff, like school and what nots. honestly i havn't played a damn thing since my pc got all fkdup and i had to reinstall windows xD all those gameplay hours lost really hurt... but seems like it was for the better, now i have a clean db and stuff can be added from what everyone here discovers :) thanks for everything n.n

ok everything seems to be working xept for one thing, the cash shop, all prices are set to 0 in CustomizePriceInfo and all CashShop set to null in FeatureMatrix, am i missing something? or does it need an extra step?
