It doesn't, I replaced the stuff in the databases with my own host a while ago. The new channel thing may be related to relayserver settings and or require another service that isn't normally loaded. I don't really know, though.
Changes you make in heroescontents.db3 featurematrix need to be in the column of the gamecode the server is set to.

Can you upload their heroes.db3.comp database up and launcher? So some of us can use our EU 1.65 client and updates what's they altered or changes made and give us the server's IPs too.

Due to this Gvynn quest bug I can't advanced to see Gallagher in mercenary outpost. I think your NA client with heroes.db3.comp didn't encountered this bug.Just tried Fishing on En-US, and it works for me.
Make sure you get the ticket and skill from Gallagher first.

Bin folder from 2015-10-26 may be useful, but I don't know. Depends on when they revamped stuff.
According to this, the Vella and Kai revamps were in April 2016. The Taiwan version got the boat update before that, so maybe we won't be able to use the boat even if we had April 2016.

The 10 gig file I linked above seems to be v206, so get the 206->207 from the official site.
