    Re: editing motion.txt

Repacking HFS generally doesn't work, it only seems to work for the database.
Our HFS repacking tools are too outdated, different updates and languages of the game seem to encode HFS in different keys. Removing the HFS makes the game read some files outside of folders, but it doesn't seem to work for motion (haven't figured out why yet).

Good Stuff Lite can read some modifications to the primary motion file, but doesn't seem to read others.

use winnsi.dll or this tutorial http://forum.ragezone.com/f945/tutor...2-dat-1111855/

editing hfs should be obsolete, its very slow compared to other methods because you need to repack everytime you want to test something.

From what I gather, even if you decompile the DLLs, they will be in Assembly and you won't be able to get the original source code out of them.

HFS isn't obsolete because the game seems to require HFS in some cases, and we don't have a way to force the game to read all decompressed data.
