Has anyone had success in opening Vindictus maps in Sledge or Hammer?
I'm having great difficulty getting my decompiled maps to load correctly in Sledge or Hammer. If anyone has had success in getting the maps to load, could you post your settings and directories? I feel I'm missing something in my setup.

Re: Has anyone had success in opening Vindictus maps in Sledge or Hammer?
I know nothing at all about the programs themselves, the Source Engine BS, or how to actually make any changes after loading the map. But I was able to load the maps into Hammer (from Steam, "Source SDK Base 2013 Multiplayer") just fine with the default game setting things, Half Life 2 etc. After decompiling the .bsp with BSP Source 1.3.21, with all settings default except "BSP Format" in "Other" set to Vindictus/Mabinogi: Heroes (oh, and maybe "Extract embedded files" checked)... Even without doing anything else, I can load that resulting vmf into a freshly installed hammer.exe from that SDK, it's just a bunch of colored lines since no meshes/textures are hooked up.
I did also manage to get most of the models and textures to load a year and a half ago, but I later deleted all the Source SDK stuff for hard drive space and I had absolutely no idea what I was doing at the time, so no clue on the folder structure. I used the model sorter mentioned on https://before.facepunch.com/f/mappi...Map-Porting/1/ and I believe I manually searched a hfs list for the files I needed, but vinplayer's newer HFS extractor should accomplish all of that MUCH better. Since the link there is dead, here it is in case you want it (it's a very basic command line program and I remember it being a huge pain to get everything worked out): vindictusmdlsorter.7z
Again, vinplayer's hfs extractor should do the exact same thing much better.

Thanks Vargle, I got the maps loading and everything and I've used vinplayers HFS extractor, but I'm having issues sorting out just how to get Hammer to load the models and textures appropriately. I'm not exactly sure how to set up the file paths in the configuration to get the models and textures to appropriately load from the extracted HFS files. I have every HFS dumped in their appropriate file structures (materials / models etc)

Well, I was able to get some models/textures to load after just pasting them into the hl2 directory that came with Hammer, but only a few. If you're already able to get that far then I probably can't do anything to help you.
