Re: How to language translation patch?
I don't understand which language you want Vindictus to use.
Vindictus is designed to use several different languages.
This is decided on startup. For example, if you run Vindictus in Ko-KR, it will look for Ko-KR files.
The problem is, those files are not always included in every language version.
For example, even if you try to use Ko-KR, some versions will crash because the files are missing.
The main language file is in Vindictus/resource/localized_text/language/heroes_text_language.txt
For example, for English, you'll need Vindictus/resource/localized_text/english/heroes_text_english.txt
If you try to run English on Taiwan version and you do not have that file, it will crash.

Re: How to language translation patch?
There's no heroes_text_koreana.txt because it is the default language.
The game has some koreana files for reference, but it doesn't seem to translate everything.
Also, it seems some Korean fonts aren't included? So some text won't appear at all.
I combined the koreana files here:
https://www.sendspace.com/file/je9r4d
You will need to rename it and put it in the correct folder for the language you are using to run the game.
For example, if you are booting the game with en-US or en-EU, you need to put it in resource/localized_text/english/heroes_text_english.txt
Taiwan is localized_text/taiwan/heroes_text_taiwan.txt

Re: How to language translation patch?
Forgot to list the password, sorry, It's rz
I got Korean language version working on EN-US version, I'll post a Korean language pack after I make some adjustments.
Vindictus looks for endpoint.txt, which contains the server IP.
Endpoint.txt can't be stored locally (ie. in the Vindictus folder, does not work).
It needs to be a webserver people can see. So you host your own webserver.
Once you set up a webserver, check if your friends can see it. Then you can put endpoint.txt on it.
The IP in endpoint also needs to be an IP people can see.
127.0.0.1 is localhost, nobody else can see it, only you.
192.168.0.1 and IPs like that are Local Area Network. Only LAN people can see it.

Re: How to language translation patch?
Yes. If you use other versions of the game, you need to add other hosts.
If they cannot connect to the channel or boat, you need to use Windows VPN.
I'm uploading the Korean language mod now.
