The most stable client and server files?

Hey guys,
I'm looking for the most stable client and server files. There are many versions on this forum and I'm confused. I won't open a server for people or invite friends. I'll just play alone. Which one should I download? Would you be able to provide me a link to that thread?
I would also like to ask if all characters are creatable and playable in the version that you would recommend (especially Delia).
Oh just one more thing, has anyone figured out how to add NX coins?
