I have a quad xeon only for centos with 4gbddr2.Should that be normal?

Are you running centos in vmware? If so then the physical specs on the server mean nothing you need to check how much of that ram you have assigned to the VM. Any other things like Hamachi in use?

Whilst the server is being laggy use the "top" command in Centos to check ram. Also check your logs to see if you have been affected by the hacks that have been reported in the main section.

Lots of things can cause lag so you need to do more to investigate than just blaming the last thing you added as it could well be a completely different problem. A few people have mentioned this lag but as yet nobody has posted any technical info or anything that conclusively proves it is this at fault. If it is this fax causing it then we need some technical information so we can try a fix but i am not seeing this lag myself so i can't do any investigation.
