About hamachi & internal.txt

My problem is, what ip will i put in my friends cabal client? in the "internal.txt"? so that he can connect to my server?

-i already installed the hamachi on centos with installed cabal server 2.5( i updated the server files to 2.8)
-my hamachi on windows is already intalled and created a network.



anyway.. here are my ips:

Windows IP + SQL = 192.168.1.2 <-- i'm sure this is not the one that is needed.

Centos IP(cabal server) = 192.168.1.3

Windows Hamachi IP = 5.157.83.44

Cabal Server Hamachi IP(the one in the Centos) = 5.157.94.14

Hi,
i tryed using Hamachi once and from what i can remember you need to install hamachi on Linux (CentOS) and your hamachi centos ip would be the one ur friend would connect to.

Hamachi is a last resort for people with routers not capable of hosting properly. I would not suggest using it at all as it does nothing but complicate the server and introduce lag and disconnects.

yup...i removed the hamachi yesterday

chump, when i put in the server ip my WAN,when you are setting up the server
"home/cabal/cabal_config.sh"

when i put my wan ip on the cabal settings... it won't let me connect? why?
i already changed the IP's in the internal.txt with my WAN IP...

please help

Have you even read the guides, they clearly tell you what to put where and also that nobody can diagnose networking problems based on "it won't connect".

Internal.txt should also have the wap ip and if you have a router you need to forward ports. I think you need to read the networking guides in my sig again.
