I'm sorry but how is this a release? This is not a guide on how to add new pets to your client (which already exists on ragezone in the tutorial section). This is just renaming files ... The link to the blog is a guide on how that person leveled his pet, nothing useful for making an actual pet level system in the episode 2 server files. And all of that looks like it's on the official servers.

The current episode 2 server and client files do not support pet skills and leveling. Please re-read the rules and posting guidelines, the section about new features beyond episode 2.

Even if this was a proper release this is the wrong section, have you read the rules at all? :/
