im using windows OS and now im using VMWare followed the instructions in installing centOS-5 and now im stuck in putty where u install (yum install openssl097a db4) i get the error on missing mirrorlist.....any idea why it wont install?

it wont install coz you don't have that file..
you're using Mahi's guide and you're using darkxl's files?
use darkxl's video guide.. pretty easy to follow even it's in chinese!

Note: pause the video every now and then to follow the guide correctly

you must Wait more time to only Windows Server...

I doubt there will ever be a windows only server. The official server files are for linux only and i can't see anyne taking on the HUGE job or wqritng one from scratch given that we have a working server already.

i can write a server emu for win, but why? have another better for a better os than windows.

darkxxl: im using windows OS, and as what Mahi did on the video, i installed MSQL, then VMwares, installed CentOS-5 according to the instructions he made, and now im stuck in putty where i have to install openssl.....where did i go wrong? any idea? thnks for the help in advance
