Autobot problems

Hi all,

We have a private server running fine with help of chumpy and ragezoners, now the problm is that lotsa ppl using autobots in the server...they used to get afk after the bot was activated....autoskils and hunting...is there neway to stop tht except banning???

After logging in game if we click tht its taking control and using som skills randomly and kiling som monsters with auto click....

Banning is the only way right now. Both our server version and clients are quite old and back when they were the latest version of official cabal they were riddled with bots because banning was all they could do.

Bots are the bane of all MMO games because if they are done properly it is impossible for the server to tell a human apart from a bot. All of our bot detection is based on the bot cheating, spamming skill faster than possible, looting from distances it is not normally possible to and so on. If the bots plays entirely by the rules the only real way to tell them apart from real players is by talking to them.

May be if we give post the link for bot, you guys can check the actual problem? If mod approves i will post the link of the bot.. ...

Rather than posting it somewhere people can find it PM me the link. Pserver players are already searching here for hack ideas and i would rather they didn't find a link to a bot here as that would just make things worse :P
