As far as i know there is no limit to the number of connections on a server operating system, the limit only affects home editions. The last person to report this type of problem was running on XP home edition which definitely has limited connections. You will find event id 4226 in your event logs if you are hitting a connection limit.

I don't know of any other limits that would cause this, if it were the server files everybody would be affected and they aren't. VMWare server isn't limited but i don't know about some of the other vmware editions. If you have a router it could be that and it could even be a limit imposed by the ISP. Running out of RAM on centos would cause problems logging in too.

First : Try a Translator Program to write here.

Second. Also write in your Main-Language,so maybe there is a guy,who can help better in the Main-language.

Third. To Hire a Root without having Skills,to handle it,is very lame, coz if you cant Fix Problems within Seconds/minutes,you will see,it wouldnt make Fun anymore.
Posting Logs from var/log/cabal would help more, then trying to explain the Problem in "hardcore-English".

    German Translate:
erstens:versuche es mal mit nem Übersetzer.

zweitens.

I don't use MSN anymore as it tends to get abused.

If you had read my vmware networking guide you would know this. If you have a router (e.g. your main IP starts with 192.x or 10.x) you use bridged and for a direct connection use NAT. For a dedicated server or VPS it would almost always be NAT.

You still have not confirmed whether event ID 4226 is appearing in your event logs and there is no point me even looking into this until i know whether it is a Microsoft enforced limit or not. 2003 web edition DID have a connection limit so i wouldn't be surprised to find out 2008 does too. I have very little experience with 2008 so i don't know one way or another and i don't know if it is changeable as it was in earlier editions as it is a security feature MS built in and they aren't keen on people changing their default security settings so it might not be possible yet.
