cabal server connection

im succsfully install cabal server in my centOS5.1 using mahi's guide. and SQL 2000 server patch by sp4

but, when im trying to connect to my server, ther's no server.. ofcourse no channel at all.. secondly after 10seconds, centos in my VMware crash errors

by the way, when im installing cabal server in my centos 5.1 i have/need some internet connection because of yum install
then when im finished installing cabal server and databases, i remove my internet connection because its not mine ^^

i test it but no luck

Q: cabal server can run or connect to server using LAN only??
or need internet connection?

you can run it in your LAN

Yes you can run it lan-only if you want but you have to remember to only use 127.0.0.1 or your lan ip addresses in the server configs obviously.

It sounds like the worldsvr is crashing for some reason but you will need to check the logs to find out why. /var/log/cabal if you don't know where your logs are.
