Can I run Cabal server in 1 pc?
Can I run cabal server on 1 pc only...
1gb of ram 20gb of space windows server
or
1gb of ram 50gb of space centos v5 ...?
because i'm planning to buy vps . but i do not have enough budget to buy 2 vps.
so just one...
I'm just a beginner and I want to run my public cabal server ...
I'm confuse of the guides I have reed ,,,,

yes you can, but at those specs you can't have more than a few people playing.

This will get you going at least a few channels with maybe 50-100 people each
but that is like the BARE MINIMUM you would need for that, and with 100 people on more than 1 channel, it WILL run like crap...but it will run...
dude....check hostkey for Dedi Servers....you only need a small...very very basic one...and those packages are very very cheap...
If you can get a "real" dedicated CentOS or Linux server.......I will do your server file install for you.....I will NOT configure or setup your SQL....I do that crap all day long for work...it's the LAST thing I want to do...
But if you get a "real" setup...even a basic one...I will install your server to working condition.....the SQL and everything else will be up to you...
But dude....you better learn from it.....so if I end up doing this for you...it is up to you to pay attention because I will only do it once.
