Cannot Connet to Game Client Server

Like the title says, I can't connect to the game server. I might have done something wrong, but from what I see I have not done anything wrong. Here is what I've done so far:

I followed Fix's tutorial, which was great and easy to follow. I am on a wireless network and vista so I think that that might have cause me some problems. So, my IP for my router is 192.168.0.1, so I set the IP for my CentOS to 192.168.0.2. In my network properties, I set the "Local Area Connection TCP/ IPv4" properties to

and I left everything else (Local Area Connection 2 and 3 which were the VMWare Virtual Ethernet Adapters) as default. (I think I made a mistake here but I don't know what.)

Next thing I did was I installed VMWare and CentOS and started up my server. I started up CentOS and configured the IP, DNS, etc. like this (I did configure MySQL server 2000 before this exactly as Fix showed in his video tutorial.):

Then I configured the cable_config.sh like this:

Here is my port forwarding, I think I may have done something wrong here, too. I'm using a D-Link router btw.

I already ran WinSCP to see if all the configurations were correct in the Cabal folder. After that was done I downloaded the client and patches. It told me to configure the serverlist.txt and internal.txt. I did, and this is what it looks like.

Then I ran cabal.exe and tried to login. Didn't work.

Please help me guys. I spent so long on this and I don't want to give up.

P.S. When you explain things to me, please go into a bit of detail. I don't know a lot about this type of stuff.

I have forwarded my ports, but I think I might have forwarded them to the wrong IP. I have forwarded my ports to

    cabal1 192.168.0.2 TCP 38101/38101 always
    cabal2 192.168.0.2 TCP 38111/38111 always
    cabal3 192.168.0.2 TCP 38112/38112 always
    cabal4 192.168.0.2 TCP 38113/38113 always
    cabal5 192.168.0.2 TCP 38114/38114 always
    http 192.168.0.2 TCP 80/80 always

Did I do anything wrong there?

Also, which/where is my bridged connection and where do I change it for VMWare?

Oh yeah, I added you on MSN so could you help me there? Unless you know how to solve this immediately.

Well, I looked all over the forum and I can't find anyone with a matching problem.

I forgot to mention that my log files say that I have been logged in. However, on my cabal client it says "Failed to connect to server".

    Can anyone please help?

Thank you so much for replying.

Unfortunately, it didn't work. It gave me an error in the log.

    Code:
    [Sun Jan 25 2009 08:49:45.277545 3086710464]: accept success 11(192.168.0.3:55159)

I don't know what it means, could you explain it to me please?

Thanks Fix I think I got connected. However, I got this box with no text and below it is the Agree and Disagree button. I can't click Agree, and when I click Disagree Cabal closes. I think it's due to me not having the Gameguard patch, I'll download it right now.

    Once again, thanks.

edit: Ah crap, I logged into the wrong Ragezone account.

if you see a blank agreement box on try to login,
just close client open client Data folder and rename
msg.enc to msg.enc.bak after that search for teh msg.enc.agree
and rename him to msg.enc, back and open client, login with
account accept agreement and close the client, go back to
data folder and rename back msg.enc to msg.enc.agree
    and msg.enc.bak to msg.enc

Re: Cannot Connet to Game Client Server

Thank you everyone, I am trying to put my server online now. I can get onto the world server using my LAN IP, but not using my WAN. I only managed to get to the login screen using my WAN, and I can't get past the rest.

Re: Cannot Connet to Game Client Server

Excuse me to use your topic, but i have just a question: and if i have no router, in other words, my connection is direct with the isp, without a router? The unique thing i missed that's it...
for example. my ip for the real world is something like 189.xx.xxx.xx or 189.xx.xxx.xxx

Do i really need a router for this? i am not asking about this specific case, but about the configuration like in the centos ip and something like that. let me explain my specific case: i want to make a server just for fun, to me, to test itens without needing the server of other people. I think i wouldn't need the internet to do this... wrong? Because it's local gaming...
furthermore, sorry for my intromission here in this thread.

Re: Cannot Connet to Game Client Server

On my router (D-Link DI-524) I have no idea how to port forward more than one port at once. I can only port it one at a time. Therefore, I have only forwarded the ports 35101 35121 38101 and 38121. Does anybody know how to port forward more than one port at once on my router model?

I had the router model you have a while ago and you just write 30000-40000 at the field and it works like magic XD

Re: Cannot Connet to Game Client Server

I deleted everything related to CABAL in Firewall in Virtual and put everything in Applications. Here is a picture.

I still can't connect though. Not even to the serverlist. I think I might have done something wrong, please check for me.
