can't connect to vmware

I'm newbie for vmware

i'm install vmware & centos guide by video on here

and i set ip for centos

IP : 192.168.1.8
subnet : 255.255.255.0
gateway : 192.168.1.254
primary nameserver : 192.168.1.1

i can't ping 192.168.1.1 & 192.168.1.254 -*-
my winSCP cant' connect too
can't connect to internet from vmware too

my pc have lan onboard & adsl modem external

what should I do next ??

ps. i got this error

can someoone introduce me step by step for his problem ??
