Chaos lamp bug

1. When you buy a chaos lamp from the port lux shop it says its 1m. Yet it takes 3mil. Well first it shows its taking 1mil but the server dcs you with error code 6 when you run out of money.

Example: I have 300mil. And want to buy 300 chaos lamps. When i get to buying the 100th one it says i have 200mil left but once i buy it i get dced. Log in and i have 0alz. And 100 chaos lamps.

2. Also people say this is the US version of the server... So you cant get a bike from a lamp?

No, no, no. Changing the price serverside will not do anything but cause d/c's. Both the client and the server hold the item data and if they don't match (which they clearly do not here) then you get a d/c.

This mismatch between client and server is a known problem and my last 5 or so posts have all covered the same ground so i am going to have to put something in a sticky i think as people are simply not reading the dozens of posts that cover the problem. Either that or they are just ignoring the posts hoping that posting the same question again and again will somehow get a different response.

The server is not a US version. Why would a set of US server code have Chinese collation databases and half the comments in the server files in either Chinese or Korean?

You can get boards from lamps (at a stupidly small rate) but as far as i know you can't get bikes. You are limited to chests and high level mobs or bosses for bikes. The chests in Ruina Station are the best rate i think.
