Client problem...

Hello.

The problem is a bit weird, but here it is:

I made an installer for my client. It works well on my computer, the game installs fine and I can start the client with XTrap.

On my friend's computer, the installation completed fine too, but when he starts the client, it shows up XTrap windows for a while, starts up Cabal, which is loading for a while and then closes without any errors.

I found out that the installation only works well on the D drive on your PC, after my friend installed my client on D drive - all works fine, it starts normally.

But my other friend, and many other people don't have D drive, and they are not able to run the game...

Also, the weird thing is I installed the game both, on D and C drives on my computer - and both worked well. Only for other people game only works on D drive...

What's wrong with it and how to fix that?

google it as your problem is about installer and this is not related to cabal.
but i suggest why to force to make installer package if you don't know exactly how it work. simply compress your patches with winrar instead.

i use this install creator program, and works fine:
clickteam install creator

If the problem not solved, then try to change the compatibility mode of cabalmain.exe and run as administrator.

Thanks guys, I will try both when I am at home.

And btw, first I wanted to do it wirh WinRar, but I thought making an installed will be "nicer" :P

If that clickteam is in English, I will try it first^^

I'll post here what worked or not.

Edit: @R4ZOR1018 , maybe it'll sound funny but it came out I was using the same Install Creator you gave me link to xD

I'll test the WinRar version then...
