Re: Connect in Channel Problem !!!

Those can't be the log files showing login attempts as your screenshot is past the user/pass screen and the loginsvr logs doesn't have an entry for that when it should do.

The logs themselves look ok, th IP addresses are correct and i can see SQL connect messages too. If i were to guess i think it would be a wrong IP or port forwarding somewhere as the connection is not getting passed from the loginsvr to the worldsvr properly. Have another few goes at logging in and post new logs that show the attempts (loginsvr log should definitely show something).

Also, do you use a router?

EDIT: I just spotted this: http://forum.ragezone.com/f459/my-co...ml#post5631077

The server is listening on yor WAN IP so that same IP should be in internal.txt unless you change the server config to use it's LAN address. Both should use the same IP.
I can't connect with WAN IP.In internal i have CentOS IP.

    New Logs !

With WAN IP (79.115.64.xxx); it work just with LAN IP :|

Maybe there is a problem on your internet connection or also maybe your internet speed is too low. Anyway, just wait to connect in the server. Don`t be hopeless to connect, it will connect. You just need to wait.

    1. Don't triple post!
    2. You don't have dialup internet you have broadband, PPPoE is not dialup!
    3. Your ip is dynamic.
    4. You need a router to route your PPPoE internet connection to vmware and your local os, then you forward cabal's ports on CentOS's ip.
4-alt. Find and use a VPN solution.
    5. Use no-ip.

Either you buy one or you end up using a vpn.

Re: Connect in Channel Problem !!! [Wait Reply]

Make sure you select that WAN IP when running cabal_config as if you can only connect via LAN then it is listening for LAN connections only (the server can only listen on WAN or LAN, not both).

A VPN isn't needed but if you don't have a router then you must port forward on the VMWare NAT adaptor as that is your "router" and it forwards incoming connections to centos.
