and it works perfectly.
but
how i can connect to the server with client???
i have downloaded the client from cabalonline.com.
please help me.

You need an internal.txt with the game server ip and a batch file to start the client so it uses internal.txt.

Yes the databases should be restored to mssql 2000 or later. Many people here use 2005 express as it is free but any edition will work as long as it is 2000 or later.

for the sql server are you sure that the ip is correct and the firewall is off. and btw, you need to use ogplanet client without any updates just chumpy`s patch.

That is a new EU client by the look of it and that won't work as the format of several client-side data files have changed (our servers are early ep2 only).

Don't update it after installing as there isn't much point because the client is about the same age as our server code. The login patch effectively rolls back the client to this age anyway. I'm actually going to suggest not using my client patch (strange i know) as i have just figured something new out, my patch was slightly older and technically more stable but i now know how to fix the problems with saur0n's. Use his instead (which mine is based on anyway).

As his doesn't come with the batch file and internal.txt use the ones you have already.

what do u mean? u forgot the pasword? or wat??????

i dont think u need roots password anywhere except for the WinScp to connect


I use putty and winscp for all my server works.. i dont even login into linux

Reinstall Centos now dont forget ur password........... and try again!!>. again it will work.. i am sure .. cos it happened to me..........

dude he placed the password but putty doesn`t show you anything when you type the password. So enter putty again use root, then type your password even if it doesn`t show you anything and press enter.

password problem resolved, now i have another questions:
for connect with the client i must put 10.0.0.4 ip?
i put this in the configuration.

This depends on whether you are wanting external players to be able to play or not, usually you need your wan ip. Take a look at the networking guide in my sig as it explains what ip addresses to use where.
