well... i start the server and sometimes i can get in, other times not
i go to putty after doing "service cabal start" and appears "double linked worldsvr_24_04" and i can't enter the channel... but sometimes it wont appear and i can join... it's strange
other thing...
i can't delete char's in game...
when i change a char's status in sql, i can't connect with them
If you have 2 links for the wroldserver then you must remove one of them as having 2 copies running will cause problems. You can find the links in /etc/init.d/ and /usr/bin/
If you can't delete chars then either you have not added a linked "gameserver" setting but if it is missing you won't be able to create accounts either. If that is the case then use the guide in my sig to show you how to add the setting. If it isn't that then you need the authenticated globalmgrsvr file to replace yours which is in the releases section (posted by youyou).
You need to disable the anti-hack stuff from the worldsvr ini file as the antihack sees manual db edits as hacks.

This is at the bottom of const.scp in the server data folder. Look in darkxl's sticky below as there is a section that has the drops (under Kraked's label) and also a nice tip by dordort on a good balance as setting the rates too high will cause you to only get rubbish ;)
