    [##ERROR##] remoteAddr(127.0.0.1), connectRetryNum_(9,0), serverAddr(127.0.0.1:38170)

    Guys,

    I wanna say many thanks for sharing your work with all us. I've spent all my day and night trying to put the server online. I have read A LOT of topics of ragezone (in the most of all the ppl didn't write about the solution they had received, just "thanks").
    I have just one physical machine running VMware with Centos 5.8 and, as host, Win7-64 bits. In this architecture I've ran some server releases well. I got LocaSimon client and server files purely, ie, there arent modifications neither diferent files.

    I've forwarded the port range 38k-39k in the wireless router.
    In the client, I've changed internal.txt and language.enc pointing to Centos IP (192.168.1.103).
    The database are fine and connected.
    In the server the logs are fine except for WorldSrv_02_01.log. This log shows the messages:

    [Date]: try listening 38111 port
    [Date]: CProcessLayer(31)::svc Start [3664202640]
    [Date]: sock 5 ->LinkHandler close
    [Date]: [##ERROR##] remoteAddr(127.0.0.1), connectRetryNum_(9,0), serverAddr(127.0.0.1:38170)

    There's no more errors on the logs...
    The client never had passed from login screen... I really have no idea how I can solve this.
    If someone may spend some time to help me I will be very grateful...

    I've already used some servers:
    - MatrixInfinity files -> Ok to get in the game;
    - Chumpy TDP repack -> OK to get in the game

    Now, I'm using the LocaSimon files in a fresh new centos instance, but all things got dificult since that.

    I never had to forward ports, turn Iptables off or something like that. I never had to deal with my WAN IP, I never had to deal with .ini server files configuration, I just had to adjust internal.txt, config database, run server scripts and everything worked well.

    All that the logs points is faileds attempts to listen 38111 port. Someone has a good clue or the solution for this problem? Can someone help me with this?

    Pierr32, thx for ur help! Let me introduce some additional infos:

    - I just wanna setup the server/client in one computer running VMware;
    - I can ping the server and the client;
    - The server can connect to the database;
    - I've setup all with cabal_config.sh with these parameters:
    ---- SERVER IP: 192.168.1.103 (CENTOS)
    ---- DB IP: 192.168.1.101

    - In internal.txt I've wrote:
    IP=192.168.1.103
    PORT=38101
    CHAT_IP=192.168.1.103
    CHAT_PORT=38121

    I can connect the client to the server with telnet using the ports: 38101
    I can't connect the client to the server with: 38121

    Inside the server I can connect (*using TELNET) throught the ports: 38101, 381104, 38190, 38144, 38111
    I cannot connect, using telnet, throught the ports: 38170 (GlobalMgrSrv), 381104 (DBAgent)

    All ports are configured by cabal_config.sh

    Pierr32,

    I have no problem with using Chumpy Files. I've used many times the chumpy's files, but they old and I think there are new ones. I can't use the Serenity client and I can't figure out why. I never had to deal with the configuration so deep.

    I think u have a better understand than me, so thank you for your attention =)

    I had to come back here just to say THANK YOU, Pierr32. Thank you for all of your EDUCATION, time, patience. You really understand how the Cabal infrastructure works.

    I want to post the solution for the problem that took me more than 48hs: hit del in some bunch of garbage called release that some guys've putted in ragezone. There's no problem with my network, no problem with my DBs, no problem with CentOS, just a great and big joke that I've downloaded.

    Pierr32, you really know how a true community works. Thanks for share your skills (that I believe u've learned alone).

    I JUST WANNA SAY FOR SOME "PROS": GOOGLE WHAT IS RELEASE! GOOGLE WHAT IS EDUCATION AND RESPECT!
    I've read about 200 threads here. I just read flames comming from "pros". Where these ppl put their education that their had received?
    All you need to learn how be COMMUNITY. Know everything about "hack" a dead game is nothing. Now you can ban me =)

    THANKS PIERR32

    IF U WANNA HAVE NO PROBLEMS:
    CENTOS 4.X
    MSSQL 2000
    WIN 32 BITS
    CHUMPY FILES + PROFESSIONAL RELEASED FILES (IT'S HARD TO FIND ONE HERE)
    DON'T DOWNLOAD BUGGED GARBAGE THINGS. YOU'LL GET A LOT OF HEADACHE

    Regards =)
