you os doesnt support 64bit version of centos you need 32 bit
There is no reason why it should't work as 2003, vista and win7 x64 all work (my own machine is win7 x64). The file you are running there is incorrect as you should have c:\sql2ksp4\x64\ not c:\sql2ksp4\ia64\.
If using a 64-bit OS i would suggest sql2005 express rather than 2000 as it is simpler to get working.
