Full Windows Server Guide&Files

While I`m sure this is not possible, I still must ask for it:
Is there any way of having the server fully on windows?, and if there is can you please direct me to a guide for it?

I want to make a small server just to play around with it a little by myself, maybe a few friends and for it I have a PC that should be good enough BUT, it`s not that good as to support two OSs at the same time(On a VC) and I do not have a second computer strong enough to host the rest of it.

I`m sorry for 'leeching' like this but, I`m just un-able to do this kinda things myself.
I`m not a programmer and my knowledge in Linux and other UNIX like OSs is very limited and so is my general knowledge on this subject...

If this is some how possible and a guide link can be posted here, I`m certain that will do.
