Re: Help Me About IP Setting

When testing public servers on a lan always get someone external to try first. Some routers can't host properly and lan players can't connect even if the config is correct (external people can) so testing from inside the lan isn't a good test.

A no-ip will not help in any way as that is just a domain name pointing connections to you wan ip. If your router is one that won't let internal people connect to the wan ip then a vpn solution like hamachi is the only way. Check my guides topic in my sig for a hamachi guide.

I recommend you to rack money to buy a dedicated server for you and for your members.
It's not easy but worthy. Now if you don't got money, use Log-Me In Hamachi as sir chumpy said.

Re: Help Me About IP Setting

If using hamachi then all ip addresses should be the hamachi ones not your lan addresses. The database server will need a hamachi address unless the server can connect to it's lan ip.
