    talk Help-me connecting server 2.81

    Can anyone help me with this error, do not know why this error appears, also can not log into my server on a network?

    First of all disable any antivirus you have in your pc and disable firewall too and be sure you forwarded ports correct.

    In my opinion, Disabling firewall on routers is not won't guarantee that all ports can freely open. I think you also need to manually forward in your router. If you are using the default ports, forwarding 38101 - 38190 is enough.
    And be sure you are using bridge connection if your using a router.

    ok, prime23...

    the connection between the firewall and antivirus are already released their respective ports ...

    therefore, my difficulty is between the configuration files. cfg, I think they are wrong ...

    Ok first try to check your port if its open here: Online Ping, Traceroute, DNS lookup, WHOIS, Port check, Reverse lookup, Proxy checker, Mail relaying, Bandwidth meter, Network calculator, Network mask calculator, Country by IP, Unit converter

    Now check your odbc.ini if you are using the default sql port it should be 1433. and out the sql IP there.

    Try connecting with telnet to port 1433 to see if you have tcp enabled, also make sure your sql server is a default instance.
