Help networking the CentOS
I can't manage to get NetWork in the CentOS.
I'm working with CentOS 5.2 server
Please help me I dont know what else can I do X_X
Here are all my network options :S

Config5
BTW Its a Bridged connection...
I mean, in the VMWare I use Bridge and not NAT.
I did everything just as Mahi said in her guide =\

Well I just did it like this (I have static IP):
In VMWare set the connection type to NAT and when I installed CentOS just set the connection to automatical detection and thats all. It might be already set to automatic so I dont know...^^
If you want to know the IP then just in the Terminal type: ifconfig

You can use automatic ip adress in CentOS. You got 2 different bridged mode in VMware, did you try VMnet0 instead of VMnet1?
With VMnet0 it connects directly to your networkcard and gets a own ip adress from your router, but VMnet1 shares the ip

What you mean, in the VMWorkstation, RMB on the server > Settings > Ethernet > Custom > VMNet0?

With NAT I can 100% play! Everything is working for me!

in NAT only YOU cab play ... nodoby else can enter i want to make server for friends i have this nat but i dont know what i must do to put this to other players
