Helps pls i encounter problem when trying to connect to my server.

Hi i need help on this when i try to connect to my server it says the game will close to recieve updates. It happens everytime i try to connect. Anyone knows what is causing this ? All help appreciated.

Go to /etc/cabal directory and where add line IgnoreClientVersion=1 or client_version set to 22 if u use TFN or GP client. Here is some examples:

Which bit of "Go to /etc/cabal directory" makes you think it's client side considering that path doesn't even exist on Windows?? That answer Just_Rytis gave you is as simple as it gets and if you don't know _exactly_ where those ini files are then you need to play around with your serer more, not knowing those files is like not knowing where your own hands are for a server admin :P

If you use a patched Chinese client you can also get that error if you don't have the east asian language packs installed under "regional and language options" in your windows control panel.

oic thx for the info i know i went to change the login ini files by using winscp but the problem still persist. i know where those files are. chump which client do u recommend i use to avoid this problem ? thx in advance =)

I have used a patches Chinese client (that needs the language packs), the GP client and the TFN client. Eitehr the TFN or GP client should be fine as long and the configs looke like Just_Rytis suggested.
