there are a lot of guides posted already dude try and read some and you'll understand them for sure... i recommend reading all guides made by chumpywumpy :)

Many of the stickies have been ruined but check my FAQ sticky as that is intact. You pretty much want my guides and databases from my old v2 guides and database topic and my v2.5 server files. Find those two topics and you are golden ;)
