How do I make my character / account a manager?

Hey all,

I figured out how to make my character a GM, but can't figure out how to make it a manager.

I tried setting nation to 4, but no dice.

Only Normal(no nation), Capella, Procyon and GM character.

Why does he say make your account a manager then?

What cypher means by "Manager" basically stands for Game Master there's no other "Admin, Manager, admeanz, admiinz, or adminstrator" just plain Game Master. :)

I can vouch for Josh on this one - I'm a GM on his server and I was testing it along with him last night. We made both of our characters GMs, or from what you guys say, the equivalent to "Managers", but we couldn't run a single one of those commands.

Cyber37, you didn't need to reply if you disapprove of Josh asking a valid question. Josh is the admin of Eternal Network - he runs and sets up many different private servers, he cannot be expected to be a pro vet in every one of the games - nor do we expect him to have played it for any great amount of time, which is why we have separate Admin's to maintain each of the games who DO have the experience.

Several cabalmin.exes have gm commands like this disabled for a reason and saor0n's is one of them. At the moment most gm commands are enabled for everybody because of some limitations on what we can do with the client and if they are enabled your players will hack and crash the hell out of your server. 90% of the gm commands are fairly useless as they are client side only and are only good for crashing things.

If you want some things to experiment with then add yourself into the cabal_managerdb and edit the adminip and useadminip settings in the server configs. There is no way to limit the commands to gms only though so disabled is best.
