First stop the cabal service, if you forget you will have to reboot after doing the bits below.

Delete the .ini files for the channel from /etc/cabal/.

Delete the symbolic links for the channel from /usr/bin

If you have enabled services for the channel you need to delete the links in /etc/init.d/.

Of course if you use my server repack you can just run gen_config2.sh again and it will clear away all of the old configs for you ;)

on my end, i simply prevent it from auto running, by removing it from the serverlist, after that i reboot, or i stop the service then restart it.
