How to solve..login,enter the channel and Connecting the World have a long time

i use 2 computer for my server
my spec for SQL
-Q6600
-MB ASUS P5K PRO
-Memory G.Skill800 4GHz
-internet speed 1Gbps
-OS Windows Server2003 R2
-MSSQL2005 Enterprise Edition
-HDD320G 7,000Rps

my spec for server cabal
-Xeon 3220 @2.4
-Memory G.Skill800 8GHz
-MB Tyan[mb server]
-internet speed 1Gbps
-OS CentOS4.6
-HDD Rapter 10,000Rps


whenever my server have user online 150 +
it login loading, enter the channel and Connecting the World a long time.
my server use DB repack by chumpywumpy. but my friend server haven't this problem[him use DB by darkxl]
i trying to check memory and cpu use. memory used 1-1.5G and cpu use less 10%
performance tuning DB...it doesn't work
i think my DB have a problem for my server..or not

I know the problem ... we have it too on our server ... we tryed different ways to solve it but without success ... everything is working perfectly but that login delay is so annoying -.-" ... i noticed its a problem of connection between DB and centos ... if you try to reset the connection there will be no delay for 1 minute or so ... but after it will be back ...

We are using sql 2000 too and chumpy's DB ...
