    This isn't easy. The US cabal exe we use seems to be limited to certain character sets only (i'm still experimenting) and people wanting to be able to type other character sets have only had limited success. I don't really know what hexes are needed though. If there is an official cabal version in your language it might help but you will still need to unpack the exe and apply the same hexes our US one has to remove the enc file checks. Then you will have to begin the long and painful process of aligning the server and client data that we have had to do with what we have (US client and Chinese server).

    The NPC text and things like that is mostly found in the *_msg.enc files and if you want to translate that by hand be prepaed for a LOT of work as there is far more text then you probably think. If you want to see how much check the clientfiles archive that comes with my v2.8 server files and check the decoded *_msg enc files to see how much text is in there.
