    I need some help

hey guys i got a DSL 2650u router but i cant find anywhere a guide to port forward it...
and one more thing, since i have a router i set my connection to bridged so should my Windows and CentOS ip's be same? i mean the 10.0.0 part isnt but the WAN ip is ,should it be like that?
Thanks i seriously need a urgent reply on this due to the fact that i dont have alot of time
Also can somebody tell me if my MSSQL ip should be the same as windows? do i use my WAN or local ip on it? and the user and pass i use is cabal and the password i choose?

If you are making a local server. u must do an internal network with the linux and your PC, then the MSSQL would be the Lan IP of ur windows.

lelejau i appriciate your reply :)

I want my server to be how to say public (WAN)
Ive used DHCP when i was setting up the internet and yes i have internet in centos
For example my windows ip on ipconfig is 10.0.0.4 and my centos 10.0.0.9 is that good or bad? although my WAN ip is same on centos and windows 85.1.1.1 - fake(example) both on windows and centos

Also if anybody has a little bit of time to help me around my port forward i would greatly appriciate it,because i cant find the guide anywhere for DSL 2650u so im not even sure if i need to port forward

both centos and windows must have differents ip addresses.
Because, the main will connect to centos (1.1.1.1) and it will try to reach Windows (2.2.2.2). Even if your cent os is a virtual machine, its IP must be different from windows and have all its ports opened. Was that what u were looking for?

Yes it was but i dont understand it fully
And to open ports i go to Advanced-Nat-Virtualservers and type in 10.0.0.9 -centos IP and forward those ports?
And the IP do you acctualy mean the WAN or the LAN ips must be diffrent? if you mean the WANs im not completly sure how to do that, but LANs are diffrent already

Uhm yea i know im a noob ^.^

    EDIT;

My control panel doeseint look like this completly its diffrent layout but this part for these options and input are same
So could you direct me what to enter where? and in the IP adress i enter 10.0.0.9? (CENTOS IP)?

    For example.... if my
LAN IP on windows is 10.0.0.4 on centos it should be 10.0.0.5
WAN IP on windows is 86.167.171.127 on centos it should be 86.167.171.128 ?

Is that what you're trying to tell me?

No. CentOS should get an different IP from you LAN.

If your SQL Server is running on that machine, yes.

Where do you want to "use" that IP?
In the server config you should use your LAN IP and an account with read, write and exec permission on your cabal-databases ("sa" should do the trick).
