First no i didn't use "search" so if this idea has already been thought of well, now i've had the same idea
Anyway is it possibe to play a fully updated (european client) cabal offline server, because i really don't like playing EliteCabal, no updates, no fun. So please any help or thoughts would be helpful
No it isn't. The format of cabal.enc has changed and it won't load into our cabalmain. We can't use the latest cabalmain as it would need unpacking and gameguard removing as the server boots GG protected clients.
Using the latest client wouldn't give us any new features anyway as the server won't support them and if there are any packet differences (which there probably will be) a new client would cause other problems too.
About the only thing we could get working is some of the newer like sig metal weapons but that can be done in our older client anyway.

well those that mean we'll never have a fully updated client, or does that mean we will but it could take a very long while
but what if i just tried making on without any of your files, like a super fresh start, sure it world be hard but possible right??
and chumpy left me alone, well if anyone else wants to comment on my idea its up to you, you never know we might get it working, somehow even if there were alot of bugs, still we could fix them, it would take a while though, so uh think about it

mmm about elitecabal updates, a good idea its start downloading the last og planet client. ;)
afaik, the latest ogplanet client is packed with themida. ATM, I'm currently trying to remove XTrap from the latest unpacked ogplanet cabalmain (before they started packing it). I'll be posting my finds here, and I'll also note any issues with the new client.
@phiber: what elitecabal updates are you speaking of?
P.S. You can get all of the new items ingame simply by adding the info to Item.scp, and supplying cabal with a new item.enc. Also, if you don't want to edit ECH files to get the new armour/costumes to show up, you can change how many ECH files are loaded in cabalmain.exe. thank you both of you but not to change to topic but I'd like to know if there's a way to run a fully updated european client OFFLINE or without internet, and either way i can still play it like a private server
EX. more xp, skill xp, and basically do almost anything i want to right
oh phiber, hope you log back in to read this anyway the EC team says they'll add updates, but first they want to do something to the anti-cheat system, but why don't they create another server, a smaller one only this time with the latest updates, we could have beta testing and then safely put them in to the orignal version
that is simply something to think about and maybe you could try something with that but i still want to figure how to have a fully updated euro client OFFLINE thank you

about the fully updated offline europe client it`s impossible unless you get updated server, why not go ask estsoft for a spare copy?
um cypher why can't i download the euro client and update it then configure it to run offline

You can NOT make a fully updated server at all. Like we have said many times, you will need to have newer server files, which will mean you'd have to obtain them from someone who already owns them (*coughhackogplanetcough*).
Speaking of that, I have a friend who actually worked with TFN for their TFN cabal back it was still up. Not sure if anyone here knows TFN, but anyways he actually asked the european cabal official how much it would cost for them to sell him the files legally. They said 10k euros + 50% of the private server's donation lol o.o. :P
