    Meaning of Error in Log

    i got this Error on log , any1 have idea what this mean ?

    1. This one is a warning so just ignore it.

    2. This sounds like you have set your droprates to very high values and that just ruins your drops. Don't take the rates much over 5x.

    3. Not sure on that one as i have not seen it before. Do you get lots of them and do you play around with the gm commands?

    4. This is you antihack checks on worldsvr ini. I would guess that one of the values in there is too low as the error doesn't necessarily mean it is a hack, just that a skill was used over a longer distance than it should. Check your hackuser_table for more clues but you can probably ignore this one or switch off the hack distance check.

    5. This is partly my fault as my understanding of how premuim was done was wrong. Check cabal_charge_auth and change the prem type to 1 and servicetype to somewhere between 1-7. I don't know what each exact value does so experiment with different servicetypes.

    6. This looks like you don't have the fixed "authenticated globalmgrsvr" posted by youyou in the release section. If you have problems logging into the channel then grab the fixed one and replace yours.

    my player complain he see someone use map hack, you can hit other map monster from other map, in ex : you can hit Lake Side monster from Desert Scream, i dont see any hack log for this map hack. any idea ?

    btw in Drop Rate, 1. = 100% or 1% ?

    Hacking our servers isn't that difficult to do as most people use unsecured cabalmain.exes that don't detect the range of hacks and bots used on cabal servers, we are literally wide open to them unless you have a secured cabalmain.exe and very few people do.

    Enabling the antihack and using that to autoban is the best thing we can do as 2 or 3 of those map hacks within a certain period of time will kick the users. Whether it actually gets detected or not is a different matter.

    The simple fact is they can't really stop hackers on the official game with all of their staff and money so we stand little chance. I personally think anyone that wants to hack a free server with high rates, easy money and skills etc. is just a sad little freak and they get treated accordingly on my server. Being constantly picked on by a GM is something that these little script kiddies don't like and they get bored pretty quickly and bugger off to somebody else's server.

    The droprates in cabal are not a simple 0-100% they are weights which is what most people editing their rates get wrong. You can't just whack things up to very high values and expect cool drops, what tends to happen is that you just get rubbish or worse pretty much the same item(s) every single time as some items have far higher weights than others after being tweaked.

    People do seem to want to make the uber rare items drop every other kill and it just destroys the balance of the game for me as the items are rare for a reason. I have my rate at about 5x in const.scp and that gives me a nice balance on early level drops. I have not tried the MF drops yet but i want those to be rare, i don't want the rarest items in the game dropping every other kill just because somebody wants to get every rare item on his first night's play.
