why not use MSSQL 2000 less complicated just a suggestion....

im using windows vista and it's compatible with sql2000

Use nmixed mode authentication and set the server to use the "sa" user and pass. If you are struggling to set up users and permissions it will be easier becase sa has access to everything by default.

i use both and it's the same
i try to delete login cabal and do it again and it won't let me do it.

From my experience,i have SQL 2005 and SQL Studio Management Express.
I created login called "cabal" and pass *secret*.
After this,i make this Login owner of All game's database's.
Im sorry but im lazy to post better guide for you.
But for me its working.

PS: At your pic,you dont tick all posible items,you have only Owner and Public,you need tick all boxes then try it again.
