Re: MSXML 6 problem?
yeah i figured it out after searching on google for about an hr, but yeah i guess if any1 else had this problem or stil is they can do this
goto add/remove and find msxml6 and click on it, and click change and repair it, after that it should be able to install manager.
but now the only problem im having is the winscp, i dont know the user name and pw, and for host ip i remember putting 192.168.2.88 for the ip, and if i was to setup the host ip to this 192.168.2.88 but still cant get in, and im not really sure how to use the terminal in centos even tho after opening terminal and writing ifconfig and notting comes up.

i know but im following the video guide, well after redoing everything about 10 times i kinda thought instead of naming the user name like almost in the video, i named it root, and now im able to get into winscp and able to ifconfig, but question tho, am i able to use hamachi ip even tho it has no gateway? or i have to use my ip, becuz it changes well the last number does but the other 3 stays the same exp 192.168.2 5 then tommrow or later on it will be 192.168.2.19, and where can i find the putty?
well i searched it, and it lead to WinSCP folder i see the putty folder, but inside it, it doesnt have the putty.exe even after searches, any way to get it?

Re: MSXML 6 problem?
If your router can work without hamachi then do it that way as you only want to use hamachi if there is no other way. If you use my files just feed the config script the wan IP (or let it find it), for other files set IPAddress= and AddrForClient= in the Worldsvr inis to the wan ip (whatismyip.com). If you can't connect like that then hamachi is your only choice and hamachi does have a gateway if you check ipconfig on windows.
Just google for putty.exe it's easy to find and free.

Re: MSXML 6 problem?
i have tried ipconfig, thats what i did first but it only showed ip and netmask with no gateway. that was my only problem. as of now im uninstalled everything and starting from scratch again and see if i can do it. but is there another way of checking hamchi for the gateway? i checked the hamachi adapter and checked the status still shows no gateway only ip and netmask like in ipconfig. i also tried out your hamachi guide, i got everything setup for the hamachi, but when i typed in 'hamachi login' it says failed to login, even if i was to redo everything all over again. still havent figured out why yet.
and also, would it matter if your ip changes from here and there? like for example 192.168.2 will always stay the same but just that last number xxx.xxx.xxx.4 will change everytime i restart my comp it will change to like 9 or so, would that effect centos in anyway?
---------------------------------------Heres what i have now--------------------------------------------------
heres what i have in Centos for 'ifconfig' shoing my centos ip, hamachi ip and my local ip

for my hamachi ip in the centos terminal it shows a different ip than on my hamachi, which 1 do i use? the ip that says 5.70.12.1 is my main hamachi server ip i think, and the 5.113.3.21 is my ip on which hamachi gave to me, which is connected to the cabalserver03

heres what i have for my root@cabalserver the server is working fine

and heres what i did for hamachi, follow your guide and got it working

now even with all those saying it works, which im not sure if it is, heres my worldsrv_01_01.ini
[WorldSvr]
ServerIdx=1
GroupIdx=1
GlobalTimer=4:10000,5:5000,7:3600000,22:60000,8:2000
WorldTimer=1:100,2:150,3:3000,6:60000,8:2000,9:10000,14:2000,16:200,20:200,21:200
CommonIniPath=Common.ini
IPAddress=192.168.2.10 <== my centos ip, is it correct?
UpdateInterval=300000
my odbc.ini
[CabalGame01]
Driver = FreeTDS
Address = 5.70.12.1<== the guide said put the hamachi ip here so i did, is it correct?
Port = 1433
Database = GAMEDB
TDS_Version = 8.0
[CabalAccount]
Driver = FreeTDS
Address = 5.70.12.1
Port = 1433
Database = ACCOUNT
TDS_Version = 8.0
[CabalCash]
Driver = FreeTDS
Address = 5.70.12.1
Port = 1433
Database = CabalCash
TDS_Version = 8.0
for my internal.txt
IP=192.168.2.10 <=== this is my centosip
PORT=38101
CHAT_IP=192.168.2.10
CHAT_PORT=38121
and last, do i need to port forward? it could be one of the reasons why im still not able to go in, after filling in the user and pw for cabal, it just says connect to server but loads and does not connect like so, and yet i looked at other post about not being able to connect, others their able to get to the channels for me, i cant even get to my channels but just stuck at the login screen

another thing, i was reading this http://forum.ragezone.com/f460/how-t...client-478710/ that you posted about how to start cabal client properly, i did that and everything is good but i still cant get passed the login screen, so im thinking its the ip in the configs that i have to get it right.
-----All right i Got it! am able to get in now, after i redid the cabal_config.sh and now im able to get in thx chumpy! and all who has helped me!
