It looks like something screwed up in vmware and the eth0 interface is probably buggered. Reinstall VMWare if it happens on more than one virtual machine.

It isn't an error i have seen before so i don't know, i'm just guessing based on what happened.

You can back up the virtual machine (in the "My virtual machines" folder under your my docs usually) which saves you having to reinstall centos. Your VM should be a folder in there, just move it somewhere safe. After reinstalling vmware (about 15 minutes) instead of using the "new virtual machine" option use "open" instead and open the one you backed up.

It could be the centos machine that is borked though and if that is the case this won't fix it. You really need to work out if it is vmware of the centos acting up but as the error is a vmware one my money is there.

Have you tried looking in that logfile it mentons to see if there are any clues?

I should have watched my mouth and not said/talked shit to DeadlyData telling him things like your are not welcome here because then I become the one who is truly not welcome here.
