Guys..I still facing huge problem..
1.what is the use of Crimson Editor
2.is there a complete full 100% guide about MSSQL 2005
3.the centos provided by dordort cannot login and the reason i do his coz i really dun know a damn thing about linux

try to read the tutorials, my advice to you use MSSQL 2000 much more easy to use.

1. Crimson editor is just a text editor like any other. The only difference is that it knows the difference between dos format files and unix format so it won't keep converting things to dos format and causing ACE ASSERT errors in your logs.

2. There is a full guide in my sig on how to set up 2005 and restore the databases. Anything more in-depth than that and you will have to learn youself as MSSQL is not a simple thing and to learn it properly you either have to experiment a lot or pay for official study guides/courses (my manual is nearly 1000 pages long). The online help files are very useful though.

3. If you want to run a cabal server you had better start learning as most of your job as an admin it to manage the linux part of the server as well as the DB. Not being able to log into the channel is just down to bad configuration (mssql probably).
