    Need help to connect!

    Hello guys,
I made everything as Chumpy said and in CentOS is everything ok.
I ping with other pcs the CentOS and its ok.
Ping other pcs from CentOS and its ok.
Ping internet from CentOS and its ok.

The instalation was without bugs, everything is ok when i type service cabal status like:
    Code:
    [root@dhcppc2 ~]# service cabal status
    GlobalDBAgent (pid 14003) is running...
    GlobalMgrSvr (pid 14018) is running...
    CashDBAgent (pid 14023) is running...
    DBAgent_01 (pid 14038) is running...
    ChatNode_01 (pid 14310) is running...
    WorldSvr_01_01 (pid 14340) is running...
    LoginSvr_01 (pid 14067) is running...
    [root@dhcppc2 ~]#
The CentOS ip is: 192.168.1.33, yes, I have router but I can log in with PUTTY and WINSCP withuot problem.
The client do not says nothing, just the loader bar comes to the end with the simple message: Try later.

    Any idea?
    ps.: sorry for english =\

Hello, how do I change the language.enc IP?
My client folder does not have servlist.txt only internal.txt and I setup CentOS IP.

    Thanks to ALL!

---------- Post added at 06:29 PM ---------- Previous post was at 04:52 PM ----------

Well guys, let me explain more:
    I have 2 pcs:

    1) Running windows 7 ultimate 32bits that I have installed mssql 2005 express also installed virtual box (I have more experience than vmware and I had no problem on networking), also installed CentOS 5.6 and also installed the chumpywumpy repack 2.81.

    2) Running windowx xp sp3 only for playing.

In the host PC (win7), I had no problem to ping the Win XP pc and vice versa.
In the Virtual Machine with CentOS, I can ping the Host (win 7) also I can ping the Win XP and vice versa on the all pcs.

In the win xp pc, I used Putty to test the connectivity and no problem on testing, also made from win 7 and no problem too.

I installed the repack 2.81 from chumpywumpy and no problem too.
At mssql, I followed the chumpywumpy tutorial pdf, I made as he said there and no problem too, all databases was restored and etc.

At end of cabal server instalation, if I type "service cabal status", it says that all server is ON (green).

    The ips!!!!!
Well, the win7 Ip is: 192.168.1.31
    the CentOS ip is: 192.168.1.33
and the XP ip is: 192.168.1.32.

At the internal.txt I changed the 127.0.0.1 ip to 192.168.1.33 and I tried to connect, but the blue loader bar still comming to the end and saying "please, try later".

I already created some accounts using the GM TOOLs and It worked.

    Any idea?!

    ps.: Thanks for all help!

< Speak Braziliam : Cara é só você usar o encpacker pra editar o language.enc , language.enc fica na pasta data do cabal ^^ . e internal tbn , servlist na pasta do client olhe direito q vc vai encontra se não tiver e pq ta faltando files. >

Speak English : Guy , you need use encpacker for unpack "language.enc" for change it ^^ . you use IP of Cent0s , later pack e move for folder data ^^. you don't have Language.enc ServerList or internal? you client no have all files ^^ check.

Speak Portuguese : Erro no logs então voce faz o seguinte .

Speak English : ERRO ON LOGS you need use comand "cd /root/" later use "cabal_install" for Cent0s4.8 for Cent0s4.5 you need use "cd /root/cabal_install.sh " later "N" two times later "Y" for all time ,later you use cabal_config for Cent0s4.8 , Cent0s4.5 you use /home/cabal/cabal_config.sh ^^

OBS : Usa outro canal , usa canal 11 " Use other channel , use channel 11 " channel 1 can have bugs

    SORRY BAD ENGLISH ><

No, we do not do that here... If you want to help someone, do it in public in the thread that they've made. If someone else has the same problem, they will see your answer. This means less duplicate threads.

Your /home/cabal/daemons/wancheck_daemon.sh is in the DOS file format, Linux complains about the line break format.
    try this:

    Code:
    dos2unix /home/cabal/daemons/wancheck_daemon.sh
It won't fix your original problem, though.

Your LoginSrv_01.log doens't show any login attempts.
This indicates a network problem. Please double check your network configuration (VMWare adapters, Firewalls, port forwarding).

If it was due to network latency / drop the login server would've at least recorded a login attempt.

happy Re: Need help to connect!

@11223344556677 - I think not becouse I'm on LAN, impossible laggin, host pc is cool running on Core i3 etc

    @Alphakilo23 -
I agree with you but, I really found the bug, the msssql was running with it port blocked, I released the port on the windows firewall and now it's working.

I had some other problems but now I understand how to "read" the logs and I made some configuration to my server become stable.
I think all is working fine!

To all guys that helped me, thank so much!
    Good bye guys!
