Need some help

Hi i want to make a private server for cabal and i have some question (im totally a noob at this) so
1.I got og client and i found that patch that chumpywumpy posted in his collection thread and i pasted it into the files of og.I entered the game with that file start-cabal.bat and it goes in and the gives me a place to log in.I write user name pass and it just fails to connect.Any help on this one?
2.Where can i find the database?I searched all over the folder but wasnt able to find anything.
3.If i find a way to log in and when i make the character i will need to get the gm toolz so i can make my char gm?
4.How can i make the server online so more people can play it?

should i past the database in the cabal folder?

lol,no you have to install centos and mssql

so when i do that all with mssql and centos i can log in the server?Because now ti just says failled.

I installed mssql but it says there should be a icon at desktop which i can enter with but there is none
im having some probs locating centos can anybody give me a good link?
