No items in game, BeGa Admin tool no connection, language change

Hello everyone, this is the second time I write this guide because I accidently hit F5 in the process...
I'm new here and I just started yesterday.
So I have some questions ofc ;)

Centos OS: 5.8 I think (from @LordAres guide)
Windows OS: 7, 64 bit

Centos LAN IP: 192.168.178.41
Windows LAN IP: 192.168.178.118

Do u have turned off firewall?(Yes/No): Yes the Centos/Vm firewall and my windows firewall.
Describe ur problem:

I started to set up a server yesterday and I thought it will be a good idea to use the Infinity Cabal files.
I followed @LordAres's and @roplys_'s guides and bookmarked like 30 threads.
The only difference I made was to use the Infinity Cabal Database from (Infinity Files 2014\Database).
I did make a test account via query in my MSSQL 2008 R2 and it worked, I can even join my server and walk around!

I have 4 questions/ problems for now:

The first one is probably the easiest, my BeGa Admin tool does not connect to my database. I know that it doesn't work with the Infinity Cabal database, I'm just wondering why it doesn't connect.
Which IP, Port, username and password am I supposed to use there?
I used the internal CentOS Ip which is stated above and the 1433 port I think.

The second problem is that I have absolutely no items ingame.
That's probably because I used the Infinity Cabal database instead of a clean EP8 one...

My third problem is that I've been reading @Dens666 's guide on how to edit cabalmain.exe and I changed those man and woman .ech thingies.
I don't really understand what they mean, can anyone explain that to me please?
Which one of those am I supposed to use?

My last problem is that I can't use any other cabalmain.exe except the one from (Infinity Files 2014\Client Files)
I tried to edit this one myself and I was able to change the "husky" and delete the "breaklee" .
But when I try to use the multilang. cabalmain.exe from (@PX200) here https://forum.ragezone.com/f459/caba...upport-965191/
My client doesn't work and Xtrap gives an error.

So how do I edit a cabalmain.exe correctly to have the english version?

I hope someone can explain all this to me and I hope I can do it, even though I'm a beginner.

Well, i really really appreciate that you strongly minded to get a help here. Regarding to your questions, about the first problem, Bega Admin Tool as i remember should work even with infinity database, you just have to put there Windows IP (The one where u have hosted database) - of course lan IP. Probably this: 192.168.178.118. Username "sa" and password which u have setted while installing SqlServer. I strongly recomend you to install fresh Extornia databases to avoid any problems, will be much easier for you. (Do it just for Account Database, other u can use from Infinity).
About second question, i think it's because you use wrong man/woman in cabalmain, in infinity client it should be a "0F" which mean that you load man/woman14. But now when i see it deeper i think that you just use wrong client. Download again infinity client and update it using launcher. Then edit language/internal to connect ur svr :)
Man/Woman are files with visual looks of items (costumes, equipments), we have to increase them in cabalmain because every new update in officials svrs have higher number of woman/man. Just open folder /data/Object/character and you will see how many man/woman your client handle.
If u have max. man/woman14.ech then you should set it in cabalmain like "0F" because "0F" = 14.
Don't mind of that woman strange hands look, it's just bug in infinity release, if u use different .ech's from other client it will work ok :)

Since u are newbie in cabal at now i recommend you to use the default cabalmain which is included in the infinity release.
But to make PX cabalmain working with your client, you have to edit: xors, disable file check, man/woman.

Oh by the way I have a different question.
My IP shown on https://www.whatismyip.com/ changes everyday because I think it's normal for a provider to change the IP daily.
Is there any way to get a static external IP? I think I need to write a mail to my provider..

So I'm using the evo client from now on.

Edit1: I have trouble with the version number I think, the game tells me to restart because it needs an update. I updated the Evo Client with the Launcher, and I set the client version to 374 in the .ini files form the server. Which client version does the evo client have after the update???

Edit2: I've enabled IgnoreClientVersion=1 in LoginSvr.ini AND LoginSvr_01.ini for now.
I can login now, but I'm stuck at the server select screen now.
I can see my channel 1 but if I click on "Connect to Server" nothing happens.
The WorldSvr_01_01.ini gives me that:

Well, read about "no-ip" they offer something like static domain for people who have dynamic IP. In my country we can request for static WAN IP but it's additionally payed.

I think it's not related to ur problem, give us LoginSvr_01.log file, it's probably missmatch of MagicKey.

I saw that the MagicKey on LoginSvr.ini and LoginSvr_01.ini are different. I changed them both to the one from LoginSvr_01.ini
I checked the log's all the time and LoginSvr_01.log says that the port is already in use.
Therefore, I changed the port on LoginSvr_01.ini to a different one, changed the clientsided files (Internal.txt, language.enc) and all of that three times. The log keeps telling me that the port is already in use.
Any idea which port I could take?

logs looks fine, the svr should work.
Check ur WorldSvr_01_01.ini and make sure that IPAddress there is ur local centos.
And also in clinet use local centos to connect to svr.

Ignore file LoginSvr.ini, you have to edit just LoginSvr_01.ini.
"AffiliatedCorpIP=" leave it default.
Well, use default ports, don't change anything, infinity release works without any changes, if u start editing files u get lost with that.

Okay I've copied all Infinity Server Files to my CentOS, but now half of my services don't start and it seems like there is a connection error which has to do with ports (port error once again, yeey..)
I've edited the database pwd from all the DB.ini and I've edited the IP to the CentOS IP in WorldSvr_01_01.ini and changed the AddrForClient to my current one.
I also tried to change the ports to the "try listening to XXXXXXX" ones from the .log files, but no success.

Restart not running Services manually. If everything will work I gonna tell you how to fix those services. For now just restart them couple times.

Okay by starting it manually or by using service cabal start twice, everything is running now except WorldSvr_01_03, WorldSvr_01_04, WorldSvr_01_06 .
I enabled IgnoreClientVersion and tried to log in, but nothing happens if I click "connect server".
I've edited the Internal.txt and the language.enc already.
WorldSvr_01_01.ini has my CentOS IP and AddrForClient has my external IP entered-

I've been reading the LoginSvr_01.log and it seems to be an error with the Magic Key again:

I'm using the gl4d.exe from Evolution Cabal, which I updated with the launcher.exe before.

Oh man, restore again account database... You edit it wrong, you have to press Right click on table dbo.cabal_client_version_table and choose Edit first 100 records.
Then inside change magicKey: if inside magickey is 543957823 then set it to 693957823. If 693957823 then set to 543957823 .
Also change the magic key in file LoginSvr_01.ini :) restart svr and will work.

Ps. If u want save edited table press F5 in Mssql managament

Okay thanks, I didn't know how to edit that ^^
Now I can enter the character selection screen.
But when I try to enter the game with my GM Chracter, which I edited with admin tool, then I'm stuck at "Connecting.." ;(
No errors in WorldSvr_01_01.log and LoginSvr_01.log.

I can join the game with a newly created character though.
Cash items and NPC's have items now ;)
Even though I have absolutely no idea how to make cash or give me some alz or what to do next xD

Oh and I have a question, how do all those .enc files in my data folder work?
ENC means encrypted right ?
So I can use my enctool to decrypt them, but don't I need XOR keys for that?
Are those the same for every file or how does that work?

Yes, files are encrypted with XOR Keys, every private use own xor keys. Infinity client xor keys u can find in the infinity release thread.

No, i can't help you with every small problem. You can easy fix it even by making new character... :)
Just check in google for basic things in MSSQL Like: "SELECT, UPDATE, DELETE" with those three comands you can do everything.

Please do not disturb and learn things which you can learn at ur own without asking for every small problem :-D

I get you point ;) I should learn that myself, but that's not a small problem for me because I don't know which items are bugged and why xD Is there something missing? Server Files? Client Files? Database stuff?

And the XOR keys from the infinity release page don't work.
If I decompress the cabal_msg.enc and try to open the .dec a lot of 0's appear xD

There is no bugged item, you just added something wrong.
XOR keys from the infinity release working, just check whole thread for them ;>

Okay I was able to put items into a already existing NPC ;)
I didn't find out how to delete items from a character via database(I don't know which one) on my own, some characters are bugged and can't login.

I will try to find me some help in this forum now ;)

What do I do with that?
I wanted to check if this item is in my inventory or my equipment.
Item ID is 3565="Astral Bike Card - PW5"
I didn't know that I can't add RW5 and PW5 so that's why my char is bugged now.

I also got the GetInventory,SetInventory, SetEquipment

Okay I found out how to do this, I encoded the item id of PW5 to HEX and wrote it backwards, then I searched for it in my EQUIPMENT DATA and found it, I exchanged it with the DATA for RW3 and now I can login again ;)
