Please help

I would appreciate a bit of help. I'm having some issues regarding my cabal server. Everything connects, there's only one small issue which I cannot resolve.
"Wed Jun 8 2011 13:55:53.030557 4160469488]: [##ERROR##] Init(): OpenDir Failed. Path(ˆSÌÿpŽVÉ ôŸS)"

I don't know if this error stops me and everybody else from connecting to the server, but I surely cannot connect. This is my only issue.
I can ping centos from windows and vice-versa.
This is my 3rd day of trying to get this work. I'm really desperate to get this fixed.
Please help ASAP.

First.. you shouldnt put ur Contact info :) i think u will get a Warning :S ! anyway ... Uhmmm well i dont want to sound like a noob but ... i think i had this problem before.. and umm every eror i had i just reinstalled DataBase to Fix .... + Checked that the ports are all Synced and Opend ..
I Hope i helped :S i am not sure about this specaily error .. but this is what i did everytime i had error like this or others :) and it worked for me :)

it's ok :)
i'm downloading another cabal client (ian 30, 2008), because it might influence my problem, reinstalled the databases, now, hope i will resolve my issue asap

Same problem. Cannot connect... tried it with a different client, reinstalled the databases, configured the server , everything works(from my perspective), don't know what should I do...

Truth ... i have this problem right now ! i am trying to connect my new host to a new databse ;) bcuz Emi killed myn and its not connecting i get same error :) when i fix i will post here how to fix :) sorry bro :)!

Thats not a problem .. i really want to help players.. and after i done with my server i think i will do a big release for some files that all in need of :) BTW the problem of MSSQL still not solving out :S i guess i wont sleep tonight until its done ;)

I like the idea, I think everybody would need a step by step guide, not as if there weren't, but a more complex one, not necessarily for noobz, but for each and every person who cannot get the in to the hang of creating a cabal server. :)

friend, reinstall everything again, have tried reinstalling everything all restore db again?

reinstalled only centos, i did everything after chumpy's tutorial, even the mssql's installation, and the configuration of the databases...

i fixed my :) Just Reinstall the databse ... its problem in your database!!! thats the soultion... have fun :) good luck i know you tried once but keep trying .. dont use only my guide there is much guides!

Could you give me the guide you followed? What server files have you used?

I'm using chumpy's repack from here : http://www.mediafire.com/chumpy
It's the last one : 2.81.7 . Will the databases work with that repack? Or it doesn't matter what repack we use?
