any1 can help me about this.....
Invalid configuration file. File "C:\Program Files\Centos 5.4\CentOS 5.4.vmx" was created by a VMware product with more features than this version of VMware Workstation and cannot be used with this version of VMware Workstation.
Cannot open configuration file C:\Program Files\Centos 5.4\CentOS 5.4.vmx.

The VMX file(s) you are trying to use are for a newer version of VMWare.
These are the new CentOS and Server files combined right?
I know because I did this also. He, he.

The vmware converter _may_ be able to get you out of this. It has several functions but one useful one is converting a vm to a vm to do things like increase disk space on the drives and it _may_ do it in a way that will let you downgrade. I can't promise that though as i have ever actually tried downgrading.
