Re: Please If Not Bussy!
We don't accept flaming here but either Cypher or myself may poke you in the eye a bit if you double post :P
First you need to install MSSQL and configure it according to my guide. Follow this carefully as a default install of 2005 express will not work. One correction to th "linked server" part - where the guide says use "localhost" in the connection string use the windows p instead as it works better.

Next you need to install vmware and install centos into vmware (unless you have 2 computers you can use). My guides explain how to do that and if you look at the bottom of the topic in my sig you will find some links to everything you need. My sig also has a basic networking guide which will help you work out what ip addresses to assign where if you aren't sure.
Ignore the cabal guide on that post as it isn't needed anymore because of an improved install script. Get my latest files from the topic below and take a look at the miniguide. This bit is as simple as copying the file to the root folder on centos and running the install script which will telly you if it needs you to do anything. If that all runs well it will then tell you to run the cabal_config script to build the configuration and start the server.

Cabal is not a simple pserver to set up so don't expect it all to just work first time (nice if it does though), just keep at it and post if you get stuck. Useful docs can be foud in /etc/cabal/docs when it comes to making a client and anything else you could possibly want is in my sig.
Good luck!
