when I run the client cabal (OGPlanet) and when I enter the login and password, the blue bar loads all the way and then I get the message "failed to connect the server, please try later". I have run command "service cabal status" and i obtain this after.
I can't stop WorldSvr_24_01 and when i run command service cabal start, all ok but if i run status WorldSvr_24_01 is down.
Can you help me please? I don't understand. Thanks.
PS:I don't have log file of cabal in /var/log/cabal/ sorry.
I have only one log when i run start-cabal.bat and after when i exit cabal the message" you have new mail in /var/spool/mail/root" appears in my shell. No log in /var/log/cabal. So i send you log of /var/spool/mail/root.
I think the problem is in the file WorldSvr_24_01.ini.

If the services are running (at least some are) they should always leave a log behind. Without it's log it is impossible to tell why the worldsvr is crashing.
Try running cabal_config again as it should check the permissions to the log folder. You could try a different server template, say mercury instead of the test server. I'm not aware of any bugs in the server 24 template but it wouldn't be the first tim i have bugged one.
That is looking better but your userid is being denied access to the SQL server. When you installed SQL hopefully you chose mixed mode authentication and entered a password. If so run cabal_config again and when asked for the SQL userid/pass use "sa" for the user and whatever pass you provided when installing SQL. The sa login cannot have permissions problems so always use this and only start using other logins when you want to lock it down.
Thanks. was the problem indeed. Now I can connect but I have other problem. The client cabal closes after about 30s and I can't create caracter with error : "cannot proceed with the command due to unknow DB error".

blue bar load indefinitely. And so I gave him up for an account
with but can't create character once connected.

That error is almost always a bad linked server which the guide i posted should have fixed. Look in /var/log/cabal for errors and post the logs if you can't work it out (logs almost always have the answer).

I have a question. When I did a fresh install of cabal on centOS I
can install directly with "TDP-Cabal-repack-v2.81.7zTDP-Cabal-repack-v2.81.7z" or "Chumpy's-cabal-repack-v2 .0.7 z" and then do the update?
You can just install v2.81 as all my installers are full installers to save extra work/confusion.
I can't see any "Database connect success!" in those lost files which would explain the db errors i think. Though i can't see any login attempts either so it may not be a problem. If you still can't get in post another set of logs after a few login attempts.
click the HTTP link and go into /5.5/os/SRPMS/ to find the RPMs. The /root/ folder on centos has the centos 4.x versions so download the centos 5 one and use "rpm -Uvh <rpm name>" to install them.

My v2 gm tools (Index of /gmtools2) can clear inventory. the other way is to go into the cabal_inventory_table in gamedb and delete the row for your character. If no inventory or warehouse exists an empty one will be automatically recreated.
Yes i have linked server in MSSQL and it worked because chumpywumpy. If someone can why my friendvia hamachi can not log on a channel? Its authentication works well but the blue bar loads forever when he chose a channel.
